GLOBAL FORUM: Regional Responses to Key Global Challenges

The Center for European Studies/IE support the GLOBAL FORUM, a unique experience offered to LLM students (in spanish) and ILLM students (in english). The seminar presents a vision of international relations today from interdisciplinary, original and stimulating perspectives. The objective is to help students broaden legal analysis and management skills with new analytical tools and exposure to global trends that are shaping the way business and transactions are done. The seminar took place from May 20-24, 2013.

The Seminar deals with two main areas: on the one hand, world realities from a thematic point of view. It addresses key global challenges from new angles, as well as other themes related to new world actors and new problems (economy of emerging market, sustainability*, migration, international terrorism)

On the other hand, the seminar narrates the political, economic and social reality of different regions of the world and looks to answers from these global players.

* The conference “Ecological sustainability, law and business responses” by Pablo Martínez de Anguita is supported by the program “Hablamos de Europa” From Ministerio de Asuntos Exteriores y Cooperación
