The IE Center for European Studies is a space for reflection and dissemination on current European Union issues. Its aim is to contribute to key debates for the consolidation of the European integration project, from an economic, social and legal perspective.

History
of the Center

The IE Center for European Studies was established in 2009 as a Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence (a reference center for competence and knowledge on topics related to the European Union) funded by the European Commission.

After fulfilling its objectives as a Centre of Excellence in 2014, it has continued to organise activities to promote public debate on European integration.
