The IE Center for European Studies organizes debates, courses and research activities in order to carry out its mission of reflection and dissemination.
The IE Center for European Studies regularly organises academic conferences and seminars, as well as public debates open to civil society, encouraging pluralistic and informed participation.
Some of these seminars have been organised as part of the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation’s Hablamos de Europa programme, with the aim of addressing relevant European issues from an economic, social and legal point of view.
Since its inception, the IE Center for European Studies has organised an annual European Studies Series at the Artillery Academy in Segovia. The series focuses on key issues in European defence and features top-level speakers.
The IE Center for European Studies contributes to research on European integration through the organization of academic seminars. Its fellows are recognized international experts in their respective areas of knowledge.
Additionally, the Center encourages the presentation of academic books of European interest, multidisciplinary studies, and offers a collection of working papers by internal and associate professors of IE University.
The IE Center for European Studies is a space for reflection and dissemination on current European Union issues. Its aim is to contribute to key debates for the consolidation of the European integration project, from an economic, social and legal perspective.
