One day after the presentation on the European Commission of the proposals to reinforce the economic governance of the European Union, the Center of Studies Europeos-IE, and the Spanish Committee for the Union Paneuropea, organized, on September 30, 2010, a seminar on “An economic European government“. Jose Manuel Garcia Margallo, member of the European Parliament, Fernando Fernandez, professor, IE Business School and Iñigo Mendez of Vigo, member of the European Parliament discussed the reform of the Stability and Growth Pact as well as the measures of prevention and control proposed by the European Commission.
