Forth Cycle of European Studies

IE Center of Excellence for European Studies will organize jointly with the Artillery Academy of Segovia the Forth Cycle of European Studies. It will take place from January to April of 2014 and will consist of seven lecturers that will address on advanced of European Integration process with the following program:

  • “Evolution and prospects of the CSDP at the light of the European Council on Defense ” ( February 13, 2014 ) . Mr. D. Alejandro Enrique San Martín Alvargonzález . Ambassador . Secretary General for Defence Policy ( SEGENPOL ) MINISDEF .
  • ” European security beyond the borders “( March 7, 2014 ) D. Leopoldo Calvo -Sotelo Ibáñez- Martín . Counsel to the State Council.
  • “The new European economic space”(March 14, 2014 ) Dr. D. Pablo Diaz de Rabago . Associate Professor IE Business School.
  • ” Immigration and the free movement of EU citizens in the European Union” (March 28, 2014). Dr. Mrs. Marie -José Garot . Director of the Center for European Studies / IE . Holder of the Jean Monnet Chair -IE.
  • ” Europe after the crisis “ (4 April 2014) D. Iñigo Mendez de Vigo y Montojo. Secretary of State for the European Union ( MAEC) .
  • “The European Union after the renewal of Institutions : a Spanish perspective” (25 April 2014). D. Alfonso Maria Dastis Quecedo . Ambassador Permanent Representative of Spain at the EU.
