OnJuly 16, the Center for European Studies / IE organized the third seminar of the cycle “Challenges for the future of the European Union: A View from Spain” sponsored by the program “Hablamos de Europa” from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Pablo Diaz de Rabago Mazon, Doctor of Economics and Associate Professor IE Business School, and Rafael Pampillon Olmedo, Professor of Economic Environment, IE Business School were the speakers of the seminar entitled “European Banking Union: a solution for Spain?” .
The seminar discussed the situation that has led to the current economic and financial crisis and the various proposals of the European Institutions regarding the European Banking Union (single European banking supervision, the ECB’s single monitoring European Banking Authority, Single Resolution)
After both presentations an interesting discussion started with the audience composed of IE Business School faculty, IE Law School faculty, lawyers, experts in Economics and Finances and students of IE.
